According to the 2013 Global Wellness Tourism Economy report wellness is defined as a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being.
But true wellness is more than just that.
We recognize that each individual is unique. We don’t try to force a “one size fits all” solution on our patients. Instead, we work with patients to set individual goals then help them map out a customized program to meet those goals.
We believe in combining nutrition, chiropractic care, massage, sleep, exercise, stress management, and even stretching are all necessary to fully restore health and function to the body. After all, if you don’t take care of your body, where else are you going to live?
“Wellness goes beyond mere freedom from disease or infirmity and emphasizes the proactive maintenance and improvement of health and well-being. Expressed on a continuum that extends from reactive to proactive approaches to health, wellness falls firmly on the proactive side, incorporating attitudes and activities that prevent disease, improve health, enhance quality of life, and brings a person to increasingly optimum levels of well-being.”
